Beekeeping Cruise for September 2027
Note, this is just the convention component, you also need to call MSC Cruises to reserve your cabin. Make sure to include your contact information including email so we can get you the list of items you will be getting as gifts on board the ship.
Imagine… hundreds of fellow beekeepers on a seven day Caribbean Cruise. And not a ‘conference’ where one person does 95% of the talking. True ‘forums’, where small groups all equally share in both asking and answering questions.
Details: September 12 – 19, 2027. Departs from Galveston, Texas. Stops in Costa Maya (Mexico), Isla de Roatan (Honduras), and Cozumel (Mexico). MSC Cruises (and they said we can’t have bees on board…)

Let us describe the best part of this trip. You know those little stands with a number on top that restaurants give you when you order at the counter, so they know where to deliver the food? Everyone gets one of those, a stack of index cards, and a sharpie. Go up to the Lido deck, grab a table, and write what topic you want to talk about on the card. Put it on your stand, and you know beekeepers. Soon enough a few guys will sit down and tell you their experience on that specific topic. And we don’t talk for 5 minutes, we’re just getting started an hour in!
But how do you know who are beekeepers? Ah, this is the best part! If you’ve seen Tony, you know how much he loves those bright Bee Hawaiian shirts. When you sign up for the conference, you get points with which you can select gifts. Hawaiian shirts, T shirts, hats, broaches, earrings. Pick your size. And proudly wear them on the ship! Then take them home, and wear them to your bee club meetings! Then once you’re comfortable, do like Tony and even wear them to Church!
